Since moving back home from university hauls I’ve acquired more makeup, decluttered some and changed how I’ve organised everything!
So here & behold… my updated makeup collection & how I store everything.
Before you look at this I recommend you check out my previous posts below to see how much i’ve improved my collection and organisation!
My makeup station is a white desk from Argos, which has 3 great sized drawers and a bookshelf area to the left which I store haircare, my speaker and other bits. Lastly I have a white swivel chair draped with a lilac throw and a white cushion for comfort.
As you can see I have a light up mirror here which has 3 different settings and creates a daylight effect! It’s fab to see what your makeup well and truly looks like.. beside this is have my everyday most used brushes from Spectrum brushes, real techniques and Zoeva.
It’s took a while and changing bits around to see what’s the most practical and aesthetically pleasing but I love this layout!
This is the primary bit of my makeup station, I have my lipsticks displayed here in a makeup holder from B&M! This cost me £2 and has little bits of embossed glitter on it which I love.
It holds all of my favourite lipsticks from Too Faced and Colour-pop and my 2 most used palettes (Huda New Nude eyeshadow palette and ABH Glow Kit). As you can see I pretty much only own nude lipsticks and glosses, I’m not a fan of traditional lipstick bullets.
This top drawer is proooobably my fave of the three. The left side holds my bases and primers, I have a mixture of drugstore and high end. Right now I’m getting through a Too Faced hangover and Becca radiant light. Also loving Mac’s strobe cream.
On the middle is my foundations and I’m currently in the midst of trying a ton of new ones.. you shall see my thoughts soon! (Remember to follow my blog to see those reviews).
Lastly on the far right is my singles, so single powders, loose powders, bronzer, highlighters etc. These sit nicely with my 3 concealers.
The middle drawer essentially holds eyes and eyebrow stuff, along with mixed palettes and tools. I love this drawer but the palette storage isn’t the most practical. I want to get an eyeshadow palette holder that slots the palettes in so they aren’t falling over every time I grab one out! I’m thinking that’ll be my next upgrade.
